(Gibbs):  Your Presidency – the people aren’t too happy about the way Congress is going about passing Health Care

(Barrack):  If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times – the American people are not interested in process.

(Gibbs):  Your Presidency – if we could just explain how this process works, then they would see they have nothing to worry about.

(Barrack):  You’re right – I want you to set it up so I can address the nation tonight.  I’m going to explain the legislation process to them.

(Gibbs):  Thank you, Your Presidency… they will stand behind you once you explain it.

(Barrack):  True – this shouldn’t be a problem.  Here’s the process:  I say we’re going to do something, the next step is to find out how much pork we have to throw on the table, and then after that, I sign the bill.  We can always worry about what’s in it and how to pay for it afterwards.

Folks, we’re seeing it play out before our eyes.  Forget listening to the people.  Don’t have enough votes?  Find out what it will cost to swing a No vote to a Yes vote.  Pay for the bill?  That’s not important.

Whatever Ms Slaughter “Deems”

I’ve met preachers who never believed in God

I’ve met doctors who forgot “do no harm”, and convince themselves abortion is just a procedure.

I’ve heard of teachers who no longer have students, and now sit in “rubber rooms” collecting a pay check.

Now we have politicians who don’t believe in democracy.

Deem this Ms. Slaughter – I deem out of office.  Forget elections, being able to “deem” something is so much easier.  Can I “deem” twice in one day, or do I have to wait till tomorrow?  Because next on my list is SnowBama, then Pelosi, then Reid…wow…deeming is fun.

Ms. Slaughter – you are a bloody fool.  But then again, you’ve already demonstrated that when you played your “she had to wear her dead sister’s dentures”.

Reconciliation Pool

Anyone want to join my pool as to what day Nancy and Harry will pull the trigger on using Reconciliation?  B-O said he wants something in the next six weeks, so…there are 42 days in this imaginary pool of mine.

As for me… I’ve already blocked out April 1 and April 15.   Wouldn’t surprise me if they deliberately picked either of those days.  My second guess would be any Saturday or Sunday, when it would be too late to get covered by Conservative media outlets.
